Discover the thrill of rapid character selection and learn how to keep the magic alive throughout your scenes. You'll master the art of making bold choices and sticking to them. Reveal the characters, emotions, and intentions behind your initiations and unlock a new depth to your scenes.
This course will feature a mix of short and longform improv with a comedy focus.
An online deposit is required to secure admission. Remaining tuition for this course may be paid in full or in biweekly installments starting 16 January. Early bird discounts apply, so don't wait too long to register!

Sparks on Stage: Improvising Romance
Delve into a variety of connections and experiences
Romantic relationships shape all of us, and learning how to play them truthfully will add a new dimension to your improv. We have richness in our own experience that can be examined and dramatized to forge connections between players and audiences. From pining after your grade school crush, to eloping in Las Vegas, to bitter divorces, to 2am “u up?” texts, students will explore and embody these connections and the myriad of possibilities to improvise any one of them.
In this 10-week course, we will delve into emotion, intimacy, comedy, and drama. Students will also learn to develop and enforce personal boundaries, allowing them greater flexibility in play.
This course will focus on longform scenework with a focus on realism, the goal is to present a final show that mixes light comedy with touches of heartfelt drama.
An online deposit is required to secure admission and instructor approval is required. In case a student is not approved, the deposit will be returned in full. Remaining tuition for this course may be paid in full or in biweekly installments starting 15 January. Early bird discounts apply, so don't wait too long to register!

Participation in all activities is done voluntarily and all participants assume any and all risks, including bodily injury. Medical conditions must be disclosed prior to participation in all activities.
Photographs and videos may be taken during events and activities and used for promotional purposes. Participants will allow the release and use of all images unless otherwise noted. Any subject of a photo or video may request that it be taken down or altered at any time.
Deposits, invoices, and pre-paid activities may be fully refunded 30 days prior to delivery date. Up to 7 days prior to an event, a 70% refund is available. Up to 24 hours prior to an event, a 50% refund is available. Cancellations within 24 hours of an event will not be eligible for any refund.
